Coming to Kickstarter – Reverie Diver

Reverie is one of those microbrands that I had the pleasure to follow from their early days. I reviewed their first model, the Sea-Spirit, followed by the Reverie Classic. As I write this, I have the Reverie GT chronograph next to me – stay tuned for that review too. In the meantime, let’s keep an eye on their upcoming model, the Reverie Diver that will be launched on Kickstarter on June 27.

Just like the other Reverie models, the Diver too features an intricate guilloche dial. Guilloche dials are the specialty of Reverie, I never get bored by a Reverie and they also look high-end and a lot more expensive than they really are. When it comes to this diver, I did not have the pleasure to see them yet, but the specs are super interesting, 40 mm in diameter and only 11 mm thick (!), sapphire crystal with AR coating, BGW9 and C3 Super-LumiNova, see-through back with a decorated rotor, 20 ATM, powered by Miyota 9039, on a bracelet, plus a rubber strap, plus a travel roll, for US$325 the early bird on Kickstarter! You will save 35% of the regular retail of US$500 – which is still a decent price.

If you are like me, craving for a diver with smaller dimensions, because you have a small wrist or just want something smaller than the usual 45+ mm divers, here you go. You don’t want to miss the Reverie Diver.
