In the upcoming James Bond flick, No time to die, Daniel Craig will be sporting the Omega Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, a watch born from the collaboration of Omega with the filmmakers and Daniel Craig himself. According to the Omega press release,

Daniel Craig’s own experience as 007 has also influenced this exciting final design.

Bond, James Bond is no stranger to Seamaster watches, ever since Goldeneye (1995), Her Majesty’s favourite superspy is always equipped with one of Omega’s latest diver watches.

This 42 mm watch will have a grade 2 titanium case and bracelet with an adjustable buckle, making it a lightweight and comfortable wear. It is also said to have a new doming sapphire-crystal that results in a slightly slimmer profile than the standard Seamaster Diver 300 models.

The dial and bezel are aluminum with a vintage “tropical” colour scheme, while the solid case back features a series of numbers, which follow the format for genuine military-issue watches. “0552” is a naval code-number, with “923 7697” being the number for a divers’ watch. The letter “A” signifies a watch with a screw-in crown, while 007 is, of course, James Bond’s iconic agent number. Finally, the number “62” refers to the year of the very first James Bond film.

Under the hood, it is the antimagnetic Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 working diligently with chronometric precision.

It’s not a limited edition (finally) and it is expected to the shelf of authorized dealers in February 2020.

In Canada it will retail for $11,500. For more info on Omega go to www.omegawatches.com
