Junghans is among the German brands that continue to safeguard the traditions of Bauhaus aesthetics and their Meister collection is not an exception from this rule. For those of you that prefer their watches to have a minimalist, functional and subtle design, at a very reasonable price, you might want to take a close look at these pieces.

Junghans Meister Kalender 027/7504.00

The Meister Kalender (Calendar) has a moon phase indicator, finely co-ordinated with the hue of the case. A special feature appears on the firmament of the display: the Junghans-star.

The watch is equipped with the self-winding movement calibre J800.3 in a gold coloured PVD coated stainless steel case Ø 40.4 mm and a height of 12.0 mm. A convex hard Plexiglass with SICRALAN coating protects the dial of the timepiece, which is water-resistant up to 3 atm. The Meister Kalender has a horseskin strap with a PVD coated buckle.

Junghans Meister Chronoscope 027/7323.00

This dressy chronograph has a diameter of 40.7 mm and height of 13.9 mm, including the convex hard Plexiglass with SICRALAN coating.

Powered by the automatic J880.1 (Valjoux 7750), the Meister Chronoscope besides the chronograph function is equipped with a day-date function too.

While there are many things happening on the silver-plated dial, Junghans managed to create a clean layout, staying true to their DNA.

Paired with a Louisiana alligator strap, the MSRP of the Meister Chronoscope is $2,494.80

This three hands and date model measures 38.4 mm and 9 mm in height. The sunburst anthracite dial is nice match to the rose-gold PVD coating of the stainless steel case.

It’s in the name: the J815.1 (ETA 7001) is a hand-wound calibre. With the Meister Handaufzug we are really into traditional timekeeping. There are no whistles only two gold plated dauphine hands for hours and minutes and beautiful small second dial at 6 o’clock.

The vintage look is reinforced by the dimensions, 37.7 mm by 7.3 mm.

Junghans Meister Damen (Ladies) 047/7572.00

Today, any of these watches I could see on the wrist of a lady, but just in case to cover all sizes, with the Meister Damen, Junghans is proposing a three hands and date model with a very feminine diameter of 30.8 mm and powered by the J640.96 quartz movement.
