Graham Chronofighter Oversize Navy SEAL Foundation limited edition

Here is another really cool military themed timepiece that is the result of the collaboration between Graham and the Navy SEAL Foundation. I don’t think I have to present you the United States Navy SEALs, one of the most feared and respected elite forces in the world, but in case you did not know, since 2000, these guys also have a foundation that provides both immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.

For each Chronofighter Oversize Navy SEAL Foundation limited edition piece, Graham will make a donation to the Navy SEAL Foundation.

Now, let’s take a closer look at this chronograph.

With its 47 mm steel case, it has the right size for the wrist of an elite soldier. The PVD coating, the grey camouflage dial, black numerals, black super LumiNova hands, black ceramic bezel, carbon fibre fast-action start/stop trigger and steel reset pusher with black rubber “Clous de Paris” high grip pattern, it has the stealth look that you might expect from a watch that has the blessing of the SEAL Foundation.

The dial, at 11 o’clock, features the Navy SEAL Foundation logo, and it comes with a telemeter scale, which I find a very appropriate choice for a military watch.

The crystal back is printed with the American Flag and the Navy SEAL Foundation logo. You can still perceive the G1747 automatic chronograph, beating at 28,800 A/h and equipped with Incabloc shock absorber.

It comes with an integrated carbon fiber-reinforced black rubber strap with “Clous de Paris” pattern and black ceramic buckle.

This is a limited (500 pieces) US only model, talk to your local Graham AD to reserve yours.

As a graphic designer, I'm fascinated by the crossroads between technology and aesthetics. Horology is one of these crafts, where art and engineering come together to produce mechanical wonders that grace the eye. WatchPaper was born from the desire to create an online tool where I can share my passion for watches.
