RJ-Romain Jerome Spacecraft: Batman

RJ-Romain Jerome unveiled the latest model of their Batman themed watches, a collaboration they have with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Limited to 75 pieces, the Spacecraft: Batman with its Dark Knight inspired angular design, PVD coated titanium case, and engraved Bat Signal, gives the impression of a Batman vehicle on strap.

The hour is displayed on the side of the case with a bright blue indicator, while the minutes are visible on a black rotating disk with a striking blue cursor on the top of the case.

The Spacecraft: Batman features a unique self-winding mechanical movement. Exclusively developed for RJ-Romain Jerome by Geneva-based manufacturing facility Agenhor, it combines four different complications: lateral, linear, jumping and retrograde – which is unprecedented. To complete the futuristic design of the timepiece, the screw lock crown has been placed on the extremity of the case, facilitating the time change.

The strap is a black buffalo leather with blue stitches with a shape following the unique design of the case.

As a graphic designer, I'm fascinated by the crossroads between technology and aesthetics. Horology is one of these crafts, where art and engineering come together to produce mechanical wonders that grace the eye. WatchPaper was born from the desire to create an online tool where I can share my passion for watches.
