Next week at Baselworld, the press is invited by TAG Heuer to attend two press conferences. On Wednesday, March 18, TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Claude Biver and General Director Guy Sémon will speak about their brand strategy and new products.

While on Thursday, Mr. Biver will announce “a unique collaboration with global partners that will marry the latest creative technological innovation with TAG Heuer’s watchmaking credibility and Swiss watchmaking tradition“. Given the fact the Mr. Biver has hinted in past interviews that they are working on a smartwatch and at one point even promising to launch it in January at the CES, to me, this smells like an invitation to a smartwatch unveiling.
