OMEGA celebrates the release of the Globemaster with Eddie Redmayne

On the first day of March, OMEGA celebrated the release of the Globemaster, in the company of Oscar-winning brand ambassador, Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) and a host of VIP guests at the Mack Sennett Studios in LA.
We know from first hand that the Globemaster was an eagerly awaited model. WatchPaper writer, Michael Vinovich was among the first to try it and after we published his review, we received several emails asking us about the release date. Now the wait is over, the Globemaster has officially arrived.
The Globmaster, apart from being a superb timepiece, it represents an important milestone in the history Omega, as it is the first model to receive the new Master Chronometer certification, set by the independent Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS).
