Our readers might remember my interview with Brandon Nunes, where we talk about the early days of Trintec, the company he founded 30 years. At the time, he was running a Kickstarter campaign for his 30th Anniversary Special Edition Instrument Inspired Watches: the 9060SE Altimeter and the 9061SE Airspeed.

This time, Trintec is back with another aviation piece, the ZULU-07 PRO, inspired by vintage aircraft clocks from WWII era through the late 70’s. The ZULU-07 Pro is a massive, 47 mm watch with an equally imposing 17.5 mm height and it comes in two versions: stainless steel with black PVD coated bezel and a full PVD model.

Inside we’ll find ticking an automatic Miyota 9015 and each watch will come with a black rubber strap and an orange military style nylon strap.

As a graphic designer, I'm fascinated by the crossroads between technology and aesthetics. Horology is one of these crafts, where art and engineering come together to produce mechanical wonders that grace the eye. WatchPaper was born from the desire to create an online tool where I can share my passion for watches.
