I get always excited when a new player comes on the watchmaking scene, especially if it happens outside the old continent. Born in Kansas City, in the hearth of the United States, Niall in a new American luxury brand that just announced the official launch of their website at niallluxury.com.

A few weeks ago, we posted an interview that we did with Mike Wilson, CEO and cofounder of Niall, where we asked him about the brands, their timepieces and their plans for the future.

Their first collection, the Niall One, has a bold design, powered by the ETA 2824-2 automatic movement, introducing a new material in watchmaking, the Corning Gorilla Glass. Take a look at them here.

As a graphic designer, I'm fascinated by the crossroads between technology and aesthetics. Horology is one of these crafts, where art and engineering come together to produce mechanical wonders that grace the eye. WatchPaper was born from the desire to create an online tool where I can share my passion for watches.
