Yes, you will get hit at resale. If you are planning to keep it only for a while and sell it, why not take a look at the second-hand market? As for the accuracy, we did not had the opportunity to test it, but the Calibre 16 is based on ETA 7750, which is a solid movement if it’s properly calibrated.

I own several Rolexes including a Sea Dweller, a Submariner (“bluesy” model), and the Batman. I have bad luck with Tag Heuer watches in the past in terms of bad time keeping and horrible resale. But tis new watch is really nice in person. The price has also dropped about 10% given the Swiss watch industry having a bit of bad times recently. I am so tempted. Quoted to me, tax and all, for $3280. Thoughts?
