ARCHIMEDE, one of the brands produced by the Pforzheim, Germany based ICKLER, has announced their latest collection, the vintage inspired 1950’s.

Fans of Bauhaus design will love the minimalist, thin design achieved thanks to the domed plexy crystal, dial and hands. True to the proportions of the 50’s, the diameter of the ICKLER made case is 39 mm and lug-o-tug is 44 mm.

They are powered by a Japanese, Citizen (Miyota) 9015 workhorse.

Priced without VAT at € 415.97 (approximately $590 CAD), they can be ordered directly from the Archimede website.

As a graphic designer, I'm fascinated by the crossroads between technology and aesthetics. Horology is one of these crafts, where art and engineering come together to produce mechanical wonders that grace the eye. WatchPaper was born from the desire to create an online tool where I can share my passion for watches.
