Yesterday I noticed there was a link in my AdSense account to fill out a survey about the service. I left Google a message about this problem with these websites that sell replica items. I lived under the impression that selling replica brand items is illegal in the U.S., because it’s breaking the copy right law. Google as a U.S. based company should pay more attention to the ads they accept.

I can’t explicity recall the circumstances that led to their presence on my list and I can’t see anything objectionable about the pages currently displayed there either. However, I don’t recall ever adding any domains to the competitive filters for any other reason either.

*Maybe* they were gaming AdWords PPC at some point, or maybe they’re simply a false positive in my list, but while I see no reason to add them to your emerging bad neighborhoods list I see no reason to deliberately exclude them from my own list now either as the content they offer is not especially likely to be relevant and useful to my readers.

I visited their site and I couldn’t find any reference to replica watches. Could you please tell me more why you blocked them?

Thank you so much for this. I had been getting very frustrated with Google’s lackluster enforcement of the nominal policy against fakes, and after a few readers complained I was even considering dropping AdSense altogether. This sould be a big help.

Here’s some other I have also blocked, after discounting duplicates from your list:
helium.com
onsaler.com
replica-star.com
rolex2u.com
