Black or silver-white, the new Perrelet designs highlight alternating structures. Guilloché, sand-blasted or snailed decorations contrast with the detail of the polished and polished-satin finish of the steel indexes. True to its code of aesthetics, Perrelet maintains its quality of clear legibility.

These different interpretations housed in their distinctively fluted cases, a specialty of the Brand, are absolutely unique.

The “Classical Double Rotor” is the perfect embodiment of this distinctive character. With its unique design and Perrelet patent, the Double Rotor actually represents the identity of the Brand. The complexity of its mechanism enables one to observe and visualize the automatic winding function on the dial.

The synchronization of the two rotors, lower and upper, makes it possible to check the proper functioning of the movement and improves the winding efficiency in comparison with traditional models.

The Perrelet timekeepers are essential gems for the discerning person, whether in a professional or leisure context, and are fitted with a genuine alligator strap and stainless steel folding clasp.

Refined and simply elegant, the new Perrelet collection of black or silver white dials holds some beautiful surprises in store for its owners.

The bewitching “DIAMOND FLOWER” collection decks itself out in black and white ceramic

A redesigned case, with an impeccable profile and curve, the “Diamond Flower” collection combines materials and perpetuates the charm of unique technology.

Very chic, the new Perrelet design is surprisingly radiant. Its ceramic case, either profoundly black or immaculately white, overlaid with a diamond-set bezel, embodies elegance and perfect harmony.

Charm and seduction emanate from the intensity of the black and its iridescent mother-of-pearl dial. In contrast, there is a whole lightness and freshness in the purity of the white with its voluptuous mother-of-pearl dial.

This original marriage of the arts of luxury watch and jewelery-making accentuates the value of the Double Rotor transformed into a finely sculpted lotus flower which, in passing, brushes against diamond set petals strewn sparingly over the face of the dial, which becomes technical entity in its own right.

Connected and perfectly synchronized with the oscillating weight, it generates additional energy for the winding mechanism, and so each woman energizes her watch through her own movements.

A glance takes in its steel bezel, marveling at its curves and the bracelet’s refined association of ceramic with fine steel strips.

Ladies who choose to wear this delicate, sensual creation on their wrist, will arouse the curiosity of their friends and quickly realize they have made an exceptional choice.

Contemporary and lightweight, the “Titanium” collection by Perrelet comes back to centre stage.

By backing a Titanium collection in 2007, Perrelet broke with its classical tradition and appealed to a high-tech clientele, looking for different materials. The success encountered by this series, originally comprising five different complications, is today responsible for the collection being extended with an extremely sporty “3 hands-date” model.

Heavily inspired by Perrelet’s traditional collections, the case design (43.5 mm) housing the models of this “Titanium” collection, presents an instantly recognizable, hardy character.

However, despite their highly virile profile, the six models also reveal a softer, elegant finish. The collection is equipped with extremely reliable basic calibres, although Perrelet adds its own module in certain specialities, such as the emblematic “Double Rotor”, the “Moon Phase” and the “Retrograde Regulator”. All movements feature the remarkable and unique Perrelet finish and the central rotor set with a crystal.

The same finesse and beauty of the “tapestry” decoration can be observed in the last two models completing the collection, an undeniable “Big Date Chronograph” and finally a “Power Reserve”.

The dials offer an effective contrast between black and anthracite, on some models enhanced with a smoky crystal.

The indexes and hands coated with a luminous material ensure a perfect and optimal legibility night and day. An antiglare sapphire crystal completes the refreshed appearance of these various combinations. The natural rubber strap and titanium folding clasp provide an overall ergonomic robustness and functionality.

Destined for the enthusiasts of contemporary, sporty timekeepers, the various models will all make excellent companions on your intrepid journeys.

A plush atmosphere for discovering or rediscovering the Prestige Edition of the Diamond Flower collection.

The Diamond Flower collection, thanks to its different versions, was awarded prizes on several occasions and voted Watch of the Year by the Swiss public in 2008. This feminine watch combines finesse and harmony, and for the first time, jewellery and watchmaking technology harmonise to give a rare and vibrant expression of time.

Based on its Double Rotor, a patented complication, the heirs of Perrelet dared to create an audacious setting. Diamonds, rubies, sapphires or emeralds go beyond the simple transformation of a watch with feminine jewels. The visible rotor on the dial, sculpted for the occasion with lotus flowers, is linked and perfectly synchronised with the oscillating weight and supplies additional energy to the winding mechanism.

PERRELET Diamond Flower Prestige Edition A7005

Every woman thus animates her watch by her own movements.

Among the different versions proposed, there are several exclusive treasures that only certain initiates will be familiar with. A Prestige Edition with 7 interpretations, which are completely exceptional.

The jeweller’s craft is an art, and as with a jewellery arrangement, the setting of the dial, the bezel and the lugs endows each of its works with its own character. Rubies reflect passion, emeralds denote hope, sapphires represent the infinite skies and ocean and diamonds and baguette diamonds stand for eternity. This panoply of contrasts accompanies passionate women with a rare elegance. Visual appeal and its emotional impact will bring the subtle touch of refinement, which will seduce the women who are searching for exclusivity.

The spirit of this collection is on the move, as Perrelet will be presenting a preview of a new Diamond Flower duo in black and white ceramic at the next Basel Fair, from 18 to 25 of March next.

Epicureans take note!

Abraham-Louis Perrelet had the idea of harnessing the energy produced by the natural movements of the person wearing the timekeeper and, in 1777, developed the first automatic watch in the history of watchmaking.

By placing the movement at the center of their development projects, the Perrelet engineers developed what was to become one of the mechanisms especially typical of the watch industry, the “Double Rotor”. The Perrelet calibre P-181 with automatic winding, completely exclusive, displays two rotors, one on the dial side and the other on the side of the movement. The combination of the 2 perfectly synchronized rotors feeds the going barrel.

So the mechanism has a source of energy, which is continuous and amplified. The rotor situated on the dial side also enables a constant control of the good functioning of the watch.

Notes and sounds appeal to us, whatever the era or culture, they awaken memories and make our heart and spirit vibrate. From ancient times, man has sought to announce the hour with a sound signal.

Certain clocks or pendulums were equipped with chimes, gongs or balls that would strike a note.

Imagine, an object whose aesthetic refinement provides the perfect answer to man’s unconditional desire to be surrounded by melodies, emotions and dreams…

Starting with two sound complications, the idea was to orchestrate a joint production worthy of Perrelet’s dynamism and aestheticism. A bold challenge taken up by Perrelet who, harnessing technology and applying its precious talents to the development of its distinctive characteristics, revolutionises the conventional watch box and thus the “MAESTRO EDITION by Perrelet” is born.

A superb tower: black lacquered wood, aluminium fluting, two mysterious glass portholes and on its top a retractable card. Upon selecting this card, a base appears, but it is above all the signature that attracts one’s attention, that of the brand recognised as belonging to: the inventor of the automatic movement.

At this point, a secret drawer opens, activated by simple pressure, housing the iPod nano with its remote control. The listener will have the pleasure of living a new sonic experience, thanks to an amplifier and loud speakers, which reproduce a sound of a crystalline purity with wonderful deep bass tones. With one’s senses awakened, our eyes, eager to discover, continue their search and soon notice the two windows framed in brushed aluminium. These are hiding two Perrelet timepieces displayed on an ingenious rotating winding system. Accessible both from the front as well as the back, the complications are waiting without losing a minute of the time passing.

Perrelet 5-min Repeater: A1038/1

The first, an automatic 5-Minute Repeater, with hours, minutes and central seconds. Equipped with a calibre P-201, this 5-Minute Repeater, through simple pressure on the push-piece positioned at 8 o’clock, sets off the sound mechanism “on demand”. A first deep note sounds the hours. A succession of double notes, high and low, hammers each five minutes. Like a musical instrument, the resonance is the key of the melody emitted, which is amplified by the convenient openwork of the case, producing a higher volume than a classic case.

The second complication is an Alarm, in which the Abraham-Louis Perrelet invention plays a double role. The P-121 calibre is equipped with two barrels both housing a mainspring which store the energy. Thus, the oscillating weight charges the energy for the sound function in one rotational direction, and for the basic functions in the other direction. This timepiece, apart from its basic functions of hours, minutes, central seconds, day and date, enables its wearer to benefit from a sound alarm at any moment in the day, without having to wind the mechanism manually.

A stainless steel case houses these two automatic complications. The brand’s distinctive fluting makes them easily identifiable and recalls the fluting on the column. The pushers with their double music notes reflect the high qualities of visible and intrinsic finish imposed by Perrelet. A shiny black croco bracelet, topstitched in grey anthracite, completes the outer features.

Observers will recognize the many musical symbols on the dials. A broad wave divides the dial into two parts, containing Arab numerals and rhodium-plated indexes. A line of piano keys surrounds the outer ring, while the sound beats are signalled by a seconds hand whose counterpoise takes the form of a treble clef. Both complications share a single musical design, their only difference being their contrasting effects. Black dial on a rhodium background for the 5-Minute Repeater, and rhodium on a black background for the Alarm watch. Both complementary, the one cannot do without the other. Perrelet displays them together in this incredible concept, which reflects the personality of its owner.

With the skill and versatility of an orchestra conductor, Perrelet awakens the senses and the memories. Let yourself be immersed in the intense feelings aroused by classical music.Allow yourself to be engulfed by generous oriental melodies or swept along on the rhythm and sensuality of Latin notes.

Your imagination will be your only limitation…

Through its contemporary vision of high-end, mechanical watchmaking, Perrelet demonstrates its know-how yet again by offering a remarkable Perpetual Calendar in 18ct pink gold.

The imposing 43.5mm case is notable for the elegance of its dynamic design, whose quality of finish extends equally to the embellishment of the movement. The Perrelet P-251 automatic movement with perpetual calendar, moon phase and chronograph bears the signature of the brand. The oscillating weight, set with a glass, whose design is patented by Perrelet, enables one to see the angled bridges decorated with the now famous Perrelet embroidery in the form of a “P”.

Apart from the huge quantity of information provided by this timekeeper, the openwork black dial, featuring a tinted glass with luminous indexes provides an optimum legibility. A disc at 3 o’clock displays the eternal and poetic phases of the moon. The counter at 6 o’clock indicates the days, at 9 o’clock the months and leap years, while at 12 o’clock the date is displayed as well as the small seconds hand.

The mechanism of the movement automatically takes into account the varying length of the months and the leap years. The functions associated with the chronograph are indicated by two small hands at 6 o’clock for the hours and at 9 o’clock for the minutes.

Fitted with a top-stitched, black alligator bracelet, this timekeeper exemplifies a perfect exercise in style and in the art of precision.

The refinement of this new creation demonstrates the mastery of the course of time and of the capture of its evolution with elegance.

The Power of the Turbine

The world of aviation, with its technical fascination and wealth of adventurous heroes, has always been a source of passion prompting the dreams of mankind. A host of industrial sectors find their roots and their direction for development in this field, thanks especially to the constant progress made in aeronautics. Collaboration with watchmaking companies in the area of instruments for measuring was quite vital in the old days. The arrival of computerization in the cockpit, with its extreme precision, has meanwhile enabled amateurs of this sector to enjoy its instrumentation.

Perrelet, specialising in the creation of energy through movement since 1777, was impressed by the power of the propulsion of aeroplanes, generated by its key element, the gas turbine. Focusing on this external component, an ingenious rotating device exploiting the force of the air, Perrelet has established a clear connection with its double rotor and the launch of its new collection: TURBINE.

The new TURBINE models are exclusively equipped with the Perrelet P-181 automatic Double Rotor movement. The exceptional design of this collection could have come from the drawing board of a reactor engine designer or a state of the art technology research office. In fact, the TURBINE came to life from the drawings and technical research of our watchmaking engineers, who have defied the laws of gravity.

The double rotor, transformed for the occasion into a turbine fitted with 12 blades made of titanium, covers the whole of the dial and slips beneath an interior black raised area, showing luminous numbers. On the under dial, luminous markers accentuate the optical effect and make the impact of this model all the more sensational.

Respecting the specifications of a fuselage and its aerodynamics, the turbine is housed in a 44mm concave-shaped case, perfectly recreating the original appearance of the reactor. Even the crown, specially worked and integrated in the case, respects these perfect lines. Its functionality is assured by a latch which in the open position allows winding and resetting. On the reverse side, a sapphire crystal reveals the black lacquered bridges, angled and polished. The oscillating weight, whose design is particularly inspired by the aeronautical sector, exhibits the same quality of finish. A black rubber bracelet with its folding clasp completes the ensemble, ensuring its owner complete comfort. The TURBINE collection is available in plain titanium, DLC-treated titanium or in the noble material of 18ct pink gold.

According to Isaac Newton’s third law of physics, “For every action there is an equal, opposite reaction”. Fortunately, the TURBINE by Perrelet will not propel its owner into the air, but it will deserve his admiration, beyond any shadow of doubt.

Strength and finesse, robustness and frailty: The Tourbillon is the pinnacle of the art of watch making, to which Perrelet adds a limited and numbered edition of 20 timepieces.

Following the clear aesthetical codes of the brand, the brand presents at the beginning of 2009 a new, daring masterpiece: The traditional, flying tourbillon calibre is set in a modern case made of satin-brushed titanium and polished 18 carat rose gold. The movement has been rigorously tested
gaining the much-coveted COSC certificate which is rarely awarded to such complications. The automatic mechanical movement has been decorated with traditional Geneva Stripes and combines perfectly with the winding rotor which features an inlaid glass insert bearing the brand’s name. The entire mechanical marvel can be savoured by the open case back which allows an unimpeded view of the inner workings.

Both worlds coexist in perfect harmony. Tradition is found in the tourbillon movement and the way it has been decorated. The modern touch is emblemized by the case and in particular by its dial. On the face of the watch, matt surfaces in black are combined with a decentred carbon-fibre dial which displays hours and minutes. Vertically arranged titanium inserts lead to the marvel of the “flying” tourbillon which rotates once every minute around its own axis.

A natural black rubber strap which has been embossed with the Perrelet Logo and a titanium/red gold deployment buckle compliment this watchmaking specialty.

This limited Tourbillon edition is immediately available at official Perrelet retailers throughout the world.
