<p>February 19,2010 &#8211; de GRISOGONO is pleased to announce they dressed the stars last night during the fantastic charity fashion show held at Somerset House for Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief™ benefiting Haiti.</p>
<p>Fashion For Relief™ took center stage at the British Fashion Council’s official London Fashion Week show venue. This year it was held in aid of The White Ribbon Alliance as it advocates for the health needs and rights of women and girls around the world, especially supporting its partners in Haiti at this time to rebuild the health care system for mothers and babies.</p>
<p>Funds raised at Fashion For Relief™ will go towards making sure mothers and babies are at the heart of the Haiti’s new health system, and to ensuring that this essential work continues in other countries where women are at risk of dying when they give birth.</p>
<p>Fashion For Relief™ brought together on the catwalk, top international faces of fashion, music, film, TV, sports and society. The show featured glamorous clothes by the world&#8217;s most renowned and respected fashion designers including Vivienne Westwood, Jaeger, Dolce &amp; Gabbana and Alexander McQueen. On behalf of de Grisogono, Founder and President Fawaz Gruosi was very saddened with the news of Alexander McQueen’s passing – a true innovator of British and International Fashion.</p>
<p>Those wearing de Grisogono included the likes of David Gandy, Jo Wood, Sinita, Pixie Geldof, Valerie Campbell, Jamelia, Freddie Flintoff, Piers Morgan, Zaha Hadid , Violetta Gruosi (daughter of founder and president of de Grisogono, Fawaz Gruosi) and of course Naomi Campbell.</p>

<p>Hublot today announced its involvement with an exclusive concert on 17 February 2010 by the legendary group Depeche Mode to be held at London&#8217;s Royal Albert Hall. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Teenage Cancer Trust, an organisation set up to support young cancer sufferers.</p>
<p>One of the most influential bands on the international electropop scene, this will be Depeche Mode&#8217;s first ever concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The band&#8217;s members are thrilled at the prospect. Not just because of the prestigious venue, but also because of the cause they have chosen to support. The event will raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust, an organisation which provides help to adolescents with cancer in terms of treatment, research, education, family support and specialist diagnosis (<a title="Teenage Cancer Trust" href="http://www.teenagecancertrust.org" target="_blank">www.teenagecancertrust.org</a>).</p>
<p>To mark this special occasion, Hublot and Depeche Mode have decided to create a series of 12 unique watches, each of which will feature one of the band&#8217;s album covers on its dial. The watches will be sold at an auction at the beginning of February on a dedicated website (link available at <a title="Hublot" href="http://www.hublot.ch" target="_blank">www.hublot.ch</a> or <a title="Depeche Mode" href="http://www.depechemode.com" target="_blank">www.depechemode.com</a> from 1 February 2010). All proceeds from the sale will be donated to TCT. Tickets for this unique Depeche Mode concert will be on sale from 18 December at <a href="http://www.livenation.co.uk" target="_blank">www.livenation.co.uk</a>.</p>
<p>For fans of Depeche Mode and Hublot alike, this is a one-off opportunity to attend an extraordinary concert and/or to acquire a highly exclusive &#8220;pop&#8221; Big Bang model.</p>

<p>OMEGA inaugurated a worldwide advertising campaign celebrating the tenth anniversary of its revolutionary Co-Axial technology, at a party at London’s Saatchi Gallery on the 14th of October. The campaign will have its global launch on the 19th of October.</p>
<p>Party guests toasted two of OMEGA’s prominent spokespersons George Clooney and Cindy Crawford who were on hand at the celebration.<br />
The advertisements feature photographs of OMEGA’s high-profile ambassadors, including Crawford and Clooney, sporting or holding loupes, the magnifying glasses favoured by watchmakers.</p>
<p>Crawford and Clooney, joined by OMEGA president Stephen Urquhart, posed for photographs in front of poster-sized reproductions of their advertisements. They also looked at the larger-than-life images of their fellow OMEGA ambassadors including Buzz Aldrin, Michael Phelps, Michael Schumacher, and Caterina Murino.</p>
<p>The special guests came directly to the party at the prestigious gallery from the premiere of Fantastic Mr. Fox, an animated film based on Roald Dahl’s book of the same name. The movie features Clooney’s voice along with those of Meryl Streep and Bill Murray.</p>
<p>After taking in the exhibition, Clooney and Crawford chatted with international media and posed for photographs with fans and well wishers.</p>

<p><strong>Advertising as art: where better than the Saatchi Gallery?</strong><br />
The Saatchi Gallery on Kings Road, where the exhibition was held, has one of the world’s pre-eminent collections of contemporary art and along with works by established artists, it features work by largely unseen young artists or by international artists whose work is rarely exhibited in the UK.</p>
<p><strong>Inspired by OMEGA’s award-winning advertisement</strong><br />
The campaign’s visuals were inspired by OMEGA’s award-winning “Watchmaker Wanted” advertisement featuring a Greg Williams photograph of George Clooney wearing a lab coat and a loupe.</p>
<p>The headlines in each of the advertisements refer both to the ambassador’s professional accomplishments and to OMEGA’s Co-Axial calibres.</p>
<p>Cindy Crawford’s features the bold legend, “The beauty is in the detail.” For Clooney, there is a reference to the fact that his father has been a long-time OMEGA wearer. “It runs in the family,” the headline says.</p>
<p>All of OMEGA’s other high-flying ambassadors are featured in the campaign. Advertisements featuring actresses Nicole Kidman and Zhang Ziyi are still in development.</p>

All participating brands contributed to raise funds for research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, a serious genetic disease that affects one out of 3500 boys born, by donating a unique wristwatch for the event. This Charity Auction afforded to raise € 1,9 M in 2005 and € 2,7 M in 2007.</p>

<p>Backes &amp; Strauss are proud to unveil The Royal Regent. True to being a Regent in shape, there are 201 perfectly hand cut oval diamonds, hand set on the dial, the 18 kt white gold case and the bespoke bracelet. The dial is natural mother of pearl, a very elegant blue backdrop for the 12 stunning sapphires acting as numerals, surrounded by 65 perfectly cut oval diamonds. The bracelet is set with a further 107 hand cut oval diamonds and 6 round ideal cut diamonds.<br />
A piece of this beauty, taking craftsmen months to perfect, is limited to only five pieces.</p>
